2). How long has your company been in
business?
The Deck & Fence Store has been in business for over 15
years—specializing in low maintenance decking and fencing.
3). Do you have product samples or
displays for me to look at?
Yes, we do. The Deck & Fence Store has a large 5-acre showroom
with indoor and outdoor product displays. We are open 6-7 days a
week (depending on time of the year) with trained
representatives that can answer any type of product questions
you might have.
4). What if I want to do the project
myself?
The Deck & Fence Store customer services representatives can
provide you with the correct amount of material needed to
complete your project and equip you with proper installation
procedures. We can also provide you with installation manuals.
5). What if I want you to install my fence
or deck?
We provide customers with installation services. Our sales
director would schedule you an appointment for a free in-home
estimate. What that entails is a Deck & Fence Store sales
representative meeting with you at your home or project site,
discussing material options, designing your project, and
administering you a quote.
6). What happens once I receive my
estimate?
Once you receive your estimate, our sales director and your
sales representative will follow-up with you to see if you have
additional questions. We will do whatever you need to help you
feel comfortable about your project and going ahead with our
company.
7). Do you offer financing?
Yes, we do. The Deck & Fence Store is working alongside GE
Finance to offer our customer great, low interest financing
options. If you are interested in applying for financing-just
click the GE Logo on our home page.
8). Do you have a written contract I will
sign?
If you decide to go with The Deck & Fence Store we will have you
sign a 2 page contract. Once, you sign the contract we can
schedule a site-visit and installation date.
9). What type of warranties do you offer?
Many of our products come with a Lifetime Warranty. For a more
precise warranty, please look under our products page. We have
technical information there.
Our company also offers a 2-year installation warranty. The
reason it is 2 years, is because we feel that anything that
could go wrong or defective with a product typically happens
within the first two years. That is due to the product adjusting
to weather conditions.
10). Are you a Licensed Company?
Yes, we are.
11). What type of insurance do you have?
The Deck & Fence Store is fully insured. We carry workman’s
compensation & general liability insurance.
12). What is your busiest time of year?
We are typically the busiest from March until September.
13). Is your pricing competitive?
Absolutely! Our company offers the same price for every
customer. Each customer gets the best rate we can give. We are
honest with our pricing and our policies.
Other companies, in the industry, have been known to have hidden
fees and unethical selling methods. The Deck & Fence Store is
not like that. Our company and employees are honest and
trustworthy. There will be no inflated prices or additional
charges tacked on to your quote after you have received it. That
is our promise to you.
14). What is your charge per linear foot?
Each project is customized to fit each customer’s particular
project needs. There are many variables that affect our ability
to give an exact price. These variables include: height off the
ground, site conditions, ground conditions, material choices,
local code requirements, complexity of design, etc.
Since there are so many unknown variables, a flat square footage
price would be misleading. Not until we are able to administer
you a free in-home estimate, can we properly determine what the
cost of your project will be.
15). What is your lead time?
Our lead time varies depending on the time of year and backlog.
However, typically project can be completed quicker in the fall
